Controversial Geneva politician, Pierre Maudet, has been in court to contest a driving fine.
He was arguing a CHF 2,100 penalty for inattentive driving and causing an accident, which led to minor damage. He’s also charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
The small crash was in March last year on the Route des Acacias.
Maudet argues he did not realise he’d hit another car.
