A major search operation on Geneva's Rhône River ended with a happy outcome.
Emergency services were called after reports that a young man had jumped into the river with friends and failed to resurface.
Around 25 firefighters, paramedics and police officers were deployed, while the Seujet Dam was temporarily closed to assist the search.
But CCTV footage later showed the swimmer had safely reached the riverbank.
