There has been a boom in Geneva of illegal e-scooters.
Police say 173 scooters were seized in 2022, that’s five times more than 2021.
All the machines were modified to go faster than the 20km/h limit.
Experts say they’re worrying as they are dangerous and are much more likely to cause accidents.
But on the flip side, e-scooter riders are becoming more responsible as there’s been a 78% decrease of riding on sidewalks and other pedestrian areas.
