More security checks after Aarau shooting

Every big public event is likely to face tighter security after the fatal Aarau festival shooting, according to former national security chief André Duvillard

He says bag checks alone will no longer be enough, and organisers may even install X-ray gates.

Duvillard calls Aarau the "typical Swiss town" where many events are staged, warning that "no one is safe".

Concrete blocks and barriers are now standard at events like Neuchâtel's Fête des vendanges, unheard of a decade ago.
