Geneva hasn’t seen so much snow in 24 hours for the last 14 years.
A forecaster at the MétéoSuisse weather station at the airport is given the task to measure snow at 7am in the morning after a fresh fall.
It was 15cm yesterday – the deepest amount since November 2010 when 19 cm had fallen.
Not as much as the record 1985 fall – that was 39 cm in February of that year.
