The scaled back Geneva International Motor Show has come to an end and organisers say they’re very happy and there will be a show next year.
They were hoping for 200,000 visitors - in the end, the number was under the target at 168,000.
But the show reached capacity on Friday and Saturday last week – with 40,000 in the halls at one time.
Some visitors have lamented many of the large brands were absent. But the star of the show was the Renault stand where the electric model, the R5, was the centre of attention.
Organisers say they expect the big brands to attend in the future if they have a new model to showcase.
The show will be on next year from February 17 to 23rd.
