Speculation is rife there’s new information about the Chevaline massacre 12 years ago.
In September 2012, near Lake Annecy, a British family – husband, wife and their two little girls, aged 4 and 7 were shot. The girls survived - although one was seriously injured.
A passing cyclist was also shot dead.
The motive and killer remain a mystery.
A new French judge, now in charge of the cold case, has ordered a reconstruction of the event which will take place on a disused airbase near Paris.
The victims’ lawyers will also attend.
The gun used in the attack has not been recovered, but it is known that it was a World War 2 era Swiss made Luger.
The killer fired 21 times.
