Crowds turned out to watch the inauguration of Geneva’s new mayor yesterday.
Christina Kitsos was paraded through the streets of the Old Town and then made a speech – one the topics she touched on was political polarisation driven by social media.
The 43-year-old was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds to Greek parents and was naturalized in 1986.
