New rules for travellers arriving by plane are now in force.
They will have to show a negative Covid test before boarding, taken under 72 hours beforehand, and then will have to quarantine.
But the time spent isolated can be cut from 10 days to 7 if another test also shows negative after a week. The traveller will have to pay all the costs.
Airlines are predicting the new rules will led to further falls in traffic and have cut services.
