Newspaper subscriber info leaked

Some newspaper subscriber details have been leaked and published on the dark web.

The company, CH Media publishes several local papers such as the Aargauer Zeitung and the Luzerner Zeitung.

The CH Media IT systems were attacked on the same day as the NZZ newspaper – but so far, no NZZ details have been published, says the paper.
The leaked information includes confidential personal information.

The cyber-attack was on March 24th. Hackers demanded a ransom from the papers to stop publication. There’s no information if any money was paid.
