The police in Nyon will be targeting improper use of bicycles and e-scooters next month.
They say there are more and more accidents – especially involving the scooters.
Those riding inconsiderately or illegally will be reminded of the law or even fined.
The police say that speed limits have to be respected, they can’t be used on sidewalks or in some pedestrian zones.
E-scooters are also giving the trains problems. The operator of the Léman Express is reminding people that the scooters have to be folded while on the train and they can’t be used on the platforms.
