The partial closure of the Bardonnex border post between France and Geneva was due to a truck testing positive for explosives.
The truck, which was carrying fresh fruit and vegetables, was entering Switzerland when a random check showed traces of explosives.
Police searched every pallet of its load and nothing was found. It’s thought the explosives was just residue.
The partial closure caused major problems on both sides on Friday between 11am and 2pm.
