Police open fire during chase

Police in Winterthur opened fire on a 21-year-old man who was armed with an assault rifle.

A man called the police saying he feared the armed man, who was an acquaintance, was going to shoot him. 

The man was caught after he crashed during a car chase with the police. Officers fired on the car. 

The man was found to be drunk. He was taken into custody. No one was hurt.
