Transport police had to use pepper spray on two people in Ticino after an argument about not wearing a mask.

The four travellers form the German speaking area of the country arrived in the Italian speaking canton last night.

They tried to escape the officers who then used the spray to arrest them.

The police say they have also been charged with drug possession as well as assault.
