The Post Offices’ banking arm, Post Finance, suffered a technical breakdown yesterday afternoon.
Customers were unable to use their card and the Twint payment system was also hit.
The outage covered the whole country, but the area around Zurich was the most affected.
The bank assured its customers it worked as quickly as possible to fix the problem.
Systems are now running normally.
