Thousands gathered outside the Federal Parliament building in Bern on Saturday, demanding the government do more to support Ukraine.
With banners saying ‘Today Ukraine, Tomorrow Europe’, protestors are demanding unused Swiss tanks should be sent to Ukraine and implement stronger sanctions against Russia.
Speakers at the rally included the Ukrainian ambassador, the former mayor of the destroyed town of Mariupol, the EU ambassador to Switzerland and several Swiss parliamentarians.
