A rabies infected bat has been found at Lake Sarnen in canton Obwalden.
Ther’s been only five cases of infected bats since 1992.
The Swiss Rabies Center found the virus, but says there’s no reason to worry and Switzerland will keep its rabies free status, despite the discovery.
But authorities do want people not to touch wild animals, especially if they’re behaving abnormally.
If bitten by a bat, it’s important to get checked by a doctor.
