The government says any Ukrainian refugee in the country who’s been issued with a special S permit will be abled to start work without delay.
In a press release from the Federal Department of Justice and Police, the Federal Council says access to employment is vital for those fleeing the war to integrate in social and economic life and be financially independent.
It will also help those with professional qualifications to maintain their skills.
The Confederation says it will also work with the cantons and unions to make sure the new arrivals are not abused or suffer from wage underbidding.
