Swiss Federal Railways are finally going to fix the ride quality on its double decker trains.
For years passengers have complained about the bumpiness – it even has its own nickname – the ‘Schuttlezüge’ or the train that bumps.
New bogies are being tested right now – and if successful, they will be rolled out over the next few years.
Although the upgrade will cost millions, the SBB says they will be easier to maintain than the current sets – so it will be cost effective.
