Emergency services are searching the Rhône in Geneva tonight for a young man who failed to resurface after jumping into the river with three friends.
The alert was raised shortly after 6pm last night.
Four young people jumped in, three made it back to the surface, but the fourth has not been found.
Twenty-five rescuers, including a helicopter, are taking part in the search, with the water temperature at just 16.8, which the fire service points out is still cold.
