We’re in for a hot summer – according to one of the worst weather predictors ever.
In Zurich, the traditional Böögg – the explosive packed snowman on top of a bonfire – took 26 minutes to explode.
According to legend – the faster the head explodes, the warmer the summer. 26 minutes is fairly reasonable, it has taken up to an hour in the past – but it’s known the Böögg is wrong most of the time.
The origin of the Böögg stretches back hundreds of years and is linked with the start of spring.
