Some ski stations open - but check first

While some ski stations are opening early, taking advantage of the new snow, operators are cautioning that not all runs will be available – nor for the full length.

Some others will only run at the weekend until their official opening dates.

Some runs in eastern areas and Valais have tentatively opened – including Verbier. As well as the Glacier 3000 around Gstaad and Les Diablerets.

If you’d like to head to the slopes as soon as you can, check the relevant website before you head off. There could be some short notice openings.
