Complaints against the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation are soaring in the run up to the vote which will decide if the licence fee should be slashed.
Some have been upheld by the ombudsman’s office - mainly directed at the Talk Show ‘Late Night Switzerland’ - which tends to tackle controversial subjects.
But many were aimed at the coverage of the war in Gaza. Israel supporters objected to the focus on the suffering of the Palestinians.
Others objected to the output involving Donald Trump - calling it unduly negative.
The SRG/SSR says the complaints reflect heightened political polarization.
Independent analysis of its news output determined it to be broadly objective and transparent.
