Stolen Swiss bikes found in Italy

Several stolen bikes from a shop in canton Zug have been found in a bush near Milan, thanks to a tracker.

Last week thieves got away with CHF 150,000 worth of bikes from the shop, including customer bikes that were being serviced.

The shop owner, Bruno Bättig, said that was the most painful.

But one of those bikes had an airtag fitted, which allowed it to be tracked to a warehouse just outside Milan.

Italian police launched a search and found many of them in a bush.

They’re now being held by Italian police as evidence. But they should be returned shortly.
