The damage caused by the storm on Monday evening in Geneva is becoming clear.
The heavy rain at the time flooded roads - closing some of the tunnels along the autoroute - and damaging property.
But now farmers say some crops have been destroyed.The head of the agriculture association, AgriGenève, says it’s too early to make a full assessment - but it's clear some crops have been lost.
It also warns there may be job losses.
One farmer is appealing for Geneva residents to buy local to do what they can to help.
