Swiss customers are paying more for their mobile phones, and Swisscom's half-year profit has jumped nearly seven percent as a result.
The telecoms giant reported CHF 668 million in net profit for the first half of 2026, driven by the tariff hikes it introduced in April and cost savings at its Italian operations.
Group revenue slipped 3% to CHF 7.2 billion, weighed down by the weak euro.
Swisscom has confirmed its full-year targets and expects to raise its dividend to CHF 27.- per share, up from CHF 26.- last year.
