This country is under constant cyber attack.
Since last April, operators of critical infrastructure in Switzerland - including power plants, hospitals, banks and government bodies - have been required to report cyberattacks within 24 hours.
Failure to do so can result in fines of up to CHF 100,000.
In the first ten months, the Federal Office for Cybersecurity received 264 reports, mainly from the public sector, IT, telecoms and finance.
Most attacks involved website disruptions, malware and data theft. While core systems are better protected, cybercrime against individuals continues to rise sharply.
