Switzerland happy with World Cup draw

Swiss football fans are breathing a sigh of relief after the World Cup draw.

Pundits say the teams Switzerland is set to face should favour them.

It’s been drawn to play Qatar and Canada and then one slot is still to be filled, it’ll be either Wales, Bosnia, Italy or Northern Ireland.

The coach, Murat Yakin says ‘it could have been worse.’

Switzerland opens against Qatar in San Francisco on June 13th, before heading to Los Angeles and Vancouver for the remaining group matches.
