The motoring organisation, the TCS, says the City of Geneva should install more on-street charging stations for electric cars.
Although the canton does have plans to open over 1,000 new charging points in the next five years, the TCS says most of those are in public parking spots – so access is expensive and they’re hidden from view.
It also points out that the lack of street charging is hampering the take-up of electric vehicles as many Geneva residents rent their apartments and so lack space for charging,
