Teenagers are being vaccinated during the school day in Geneva.

In Onex, those aged between 12 and 15 are being allowed to skip half an hour of class to get the jab.

The in-school operation will continue over the next few weeks throughout the canton. So far 8% of students have signed up.

The latest figures show 35% of those between 12-14 are now vaccinated – while 63% for those between 15-19, that’s close to the national average for everybody.
