Around two thousand protestors took to the streets in Bern on Saturday to show their support for Ukraine.
Organised by the Ukrainian Association of Switzerland and joined by politicians the crowd demanded better enforcements of sanctions against Russia and for Switzerland to take more of a lead to bring peace.
The Ukrainian ambassador to Switzerland, Iryna Venediktova, spoke to the crowd calling for more weapons.
Parliament is currently discussing the issue of allowing the re-export of Swiss made weapons to Ukraine which is currently illegal under neutrality laws.
