Protestors who invaded the train tracks at Geneva and Lausanne stations on Monday could face a lengthy jail term.
Swiss Federal Railways has confirmed it will take legal action against those who disrupted traffic. The company says it's normal procedure when trains are stopped by third parties.
According to the Criminal Code, obstruction of public traffic can be punished by a ten-year prison sentence.
