Geneva police had to respond to two bomb scares yesterday, both proved to be harmless.
The first was at Cornavin train station just before midday. A large area was sealed off as experts examined a suspicious package. The all clear was given about an hour and a half later.
Then at 3pm, another call to the Place des Nations. A package was left on the sidewalk near WIPO. Nearby streets were closed. It took 2 hours of checks before the cordons were lifted.
