Two men have died and another is still missing after an accident on a construction site in canton Schwyz.
A large pit the men were working on collapsed and they were buried under several tonnes of rubble and soil.
The accident happened at 10am yesterday – it was 6 hours later rescuers reached the first two bodies. Sniffer dogs have been brought in to help the search for the third victim.
The site in Feusisberg, near Rapperswil, is well known – and locally considered notorious. Work has been going on for a new petrol station for the last eight years.
Unions say they believe the site was not following the right safety precautions.
