Two have died after crashing their car while trying to escape police in canton Neuchatel.
The 19- and 21-year-olds both lived in the Boveresse region where they were killed.
The police say they were first alerted to a car travelling at very high speed at 1.30 am yesterday morning. They tried to stop the car, but lost sight of it. A short time later, they had a call reporting a fire.
The car was found ablaze and the occupants had died at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
