Police in canton Fribourg have opened an investigation after two newborn lambs were found decapitated in what authorities suspect was a deliberate act.
The farmer, Silvano Schmutz, says the scene left him shocked and deeply distressed.
Investigators believe the incident was premeditated, noting that surveillance cameras in the barn had been deliberately disabled beforehand.
