Rail traffic between Geneva and Lausanne is disrupted after football fans caused a fire at Lausanne station late last night.
Around 40 cables were damaged at around 9pm, forcing cancellations.
Swiss Federal Railways says long-distance services are turning back at Lausanne, while replacement buses are operating.
All major lines, including TGV and InterCity services, are cancelled on the affected stretch.
It’s expected the disruption will last until midday.
Early reports suggest the blaze may have been caused by a firework thrown from a supporters’ train after the local derby between Lausanne-Sport and Servette FC.
The game ended 3 all.
