The section of autoroute running between Nyon and Coppet will not have a fixed speed limit from the summer.
The levels of traffic will be continuously assessed and the limit set accordingly.
If all good, it will be at 120. But when heavier the limit will fluctuate and could go down to 80 at times.
The idea is it will make traffic smoother flowing and limit the risks of accidents due to sudden stopping cars.
