The Swiss Crime Prevention office is warning about a fake bill that’s being sent out.
It’s clearly designed to be confused by the legitimate demand for TV and radio fees.
Those are marked by the company charged to collect the money – Serafe. But the fake bills are marked Searfe – simply transposing one letter.
The Crime Prevention Office says it’s easy to overlook the misprint. It urges everyone to pay attention and if you get a suspicious bill or have already paid one, let them know.
