There’s another scam we’re being warned against – this one involving the payment system Twint.
Police forces across the country say emails are being sent which seem to come from Twint. They ask to reconfirm you’re the user of the phone – and then to follow a link or a QR code.
That allows the fraudsters to steal bank details and PIN number.
The advice is to simply ignore it.
If you have already followed the link, you should tell your bank.
