The watch maker, Patek Philippe, has received a new ransom demand.
Supposedly from the person, or persons behind the recent spate of bomb attacks – the letter says the company should transfer CHF 24m in crypto.
Firefighters and the bomb squad were called to Patek Phillipe’s offices when the letter arrived.
The ransom demands are rising. The first was for CHF 5m, then 10 and then 20.
The bombs have been terrorising the canton since August when the first one exploded outside an employee’s home in Saint-Jean. Then there was another in Grange Canal which seriously injured a 12-year-old girl.
