A magnitude-four earthquake has shaken the canton of Glarus, with the tremor felt right across Switzerland
The Swiss Seismological Service at ETH Zurich says the quake struck at 4.37 yesterday morning with a smaller aftershock about ten minutes later.
No damage has been reported, though at that strength light damage close to the epicentre is possible.
Switzerland records between 1,000 and 1,500 earthquakes a year, but only about 20 are strong enough for the population to feel.
