Artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT and Gemini are rapidly changing how people in Switzerland use the internet.

A new Comparis study shows that AI use among Swiss internet users has doubled since last year, with more than half now relying on such tools.

Traditional search engines and news sites are losing ground, as online habits shift dramatically.

But the growing use of AI also brings rising concerns about data security.

Confidence in online safety has declined steadily since 2022, with French-speaking Swiss notably more worried about privacy than other regions.
