What are the main issues which worry people?
The results from the latest Credit Suisse Worry Barometer show concerns over the Ukraine war are falling – but health insurance costs are currently keeping people awake at night as well as environmental fears.
40% say health coverage is a main worry – that’s up 16% from last year. 38% say they’re worried about the climate.
Pensions come in third, with 32% saying they’re anxious about their old age provision.
Other issues which concern people are immigration, cost of housing and inflation.
Generation Z – those aged between 18 and 28 – have different priorities. They’re very concerned about the environment, but far less concerned about immigration.
