The wolf of Jussy is back.
For the last ten days the wolf has been spotted in the Geneva commune of Jussy. The Geneva environment office says it believes the animal that’s been seen for the last few days is the same and does not mean a pack is living nearby.
Wolves have been spotted in the commune before in the winter of 2021. That was the first time a wolf has been seen in Geneva since 1871.
The Environment Office says there’s no need for alarm and it’s normal that wolves roam during the winter in search of food.
