Rescue services had to pluck a woman from the water in Geneva after she leapt off the Mont-Blanc bridge yesterday evening at about 11pm.
Witnesses told the police that a couple were seen arguing on the bridge – the man walked away and the woman threw herself into the water.
Fire fighters and the police quickly intervened. The woman was taken to hospital where she’s expected to make a full recovery.
