After a survey last week that shows people are strongly against raising VAT to pay for the army - other options are now appearing - including working for another year.
One member of the Council of States, Damien Müller, is suggesting the retirement age should be raised to 66 - for men and women.

The Liberals are also suggesting the government should sell its stakes in Post Finance and Swisscom to pay for defence.
