Geneva police it was a miracle that there were no serious injuries after a woman entered the A1 autoroute at the airport the wrong way last Thursday night.
The 37-year-old was heading towards France, but on the carriageway bound for Coppet.
After 7 kilometres, she ran out of fuel and stopped.
Oncoming vehicles managed to avoid her.
Police say she was not fleeing authorities. An investigation is underway.
