The day after the successful Pride march, police were called to a rally by Posie Parker, a British activist known for her transphobic position.
Described as a radical feminist, she’s currently on a world tour called ‘Let Women Speak.’
She says she’s campaigning for women’s rights and says transgender people who are biologically male are a threat to those rights.
Around 200 demonstrated against her presence outside the Palais des Nations yesterday and she faced boos when speaking.
The police say there were some tensions between the two sides but they didn’t need to intervene.
