The government has backed a parliamentary demand to do more to help with mine clearing in Ukraine.
The government says Switzerland is already clearing mines - and has the expertise with the army and the Geneva Centre for Humanitarian Demining.
It’s also providing mine clearing courses, being held in Switzerland and Ukraine.
The Ukrainian government says around 40% of the country is contaminated by mines or unexploded munitions.
